We are still at Liard Hotsprings Campground another night. Today, we took a drive to do 2 hikes to see some waterfalls.
Our first hike was Smith River Falls. It was a long, bumpy narrow drive. At the end, you could see the falls.
To get closer, we had to go down a long, steep flight of stairs and steep trail.
The falls were beautiful up close.
The area was very interesting geologically.
Then we drove to Whirlpool Canyon.
Next stop was Teeter Creek Falls. This waterfall was hard to find since there were no signs on the road. But AllTrails help us locate it. Nice easy hike, just had to be very cautious around every turn, in case of bear.
But we did see 3 bears while driving today.
