We are leaving Summit Lake and heading to the Northern Rockies Lodge, Muncho Lake, BC. As we are packing up this morning, I was able to get a photo of Kenny and Steve taking down Starlink. Starlink is our connection to the internet while on this trip. We have had a few days that it did not work very well. One reason Steve believes is the shorter cable has gone bad.
As we are driving to the Northern Rockies Lodge, we see many Stone Sheep along the road.
We came across an alluvial fan along the Toad River. We stopped for a photo break. Steve is explaining to Kenny about the alluvial fan and the sign.
Our campsite was on the water of Muncho Lake at Northern Rockies Lodge.
Muncho Lake had floatplanes. Some were bringing in cargo, while others took tourist to areas to fish.
Northern Rockies Lodge offered a dump station, water fill station, laundry, shower facilities and restaurant which we took full advantage of. We had a 3 course dinner including mixed greens salad with seasonal vegetables, Pork Schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce, potatoes and peas, and for dessert was a brownie with raspberry sorbet. I didn’t get photos of dinner, but I did get dessert and the wine. Happy 4th of July!
