Sorry, I got a little behind, but we have been having a lot of fun, hopefully I can get caught up soon. Day 29, we are still in Denali for one more night.
Today, we decided to take a hike up Primrose Peak, to Mount Margaret. We caught the bus and told the driver where we were going. He stopped the bus in the middle of the road and said the trail is across the road. In Denali, rarely are there any visible trails to follow.
As we hiked through the brush, we had to keep yelling “Hey Bear”. We did not want to surprise any bears. Yes, both Steve, who was the lead and Diane, who was caboose, were carrying bear spray.
Once out of the brush, we could see down in the valley and up to where we were hiking.
