Day 46 – August 7

Still at Tā Ch’ilā Provincial Park (Boya Lake).

Today we hiked to the Beaver Lodge trail. It was a little over 2 miles round trip. At the beginning of the trail there was a sign Beware of bear. All along our trail, there were plenty of Canadian Buffalo-berry or soapberry which the bears love to eat! Steve had his bear spray along.

Along the way we saw many different mushrooms. The forest was mostly Trembling Aspens.

Here is the beaver dam. This is the only picture that could load to this site. I have more.

Later Steve and Kenny went canoeing.

Dinner was pork chops and quinoa.
